Accessibility

Texarkana Counseling Collective wants everyone who needs support to be able to find it here, including people who use a screen reader, a keyboard, captions, zoom or other assistive technology.

Our standard

We aim to meet WCAG 2.2 Level AA, the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines published by the W3C. We check the site with automated tests, including keyboard-only use, color contrast, zoom and reflow, reduced motion and the contact form.

What we know falls short

The videos on our Resources page are hosted on YouTube by other organizations. They open with captions turned on, but some of those captions are generated automatically and may not be accurate. If you need a transcript or a different format, let us know and we will help.
