Texarkana Counseling CollectiveTexarkana, Texas

Healing is possible.

Empathy, honesty, warmth, and compassion.

At Texarkana Counseling Collective, our goal is to create a safe place to hold your story and provide the support you need as you navigate through it.

We begin by understanding the experiences that have shaped you, what you want to change, and what your nervous system may still be carrying. Together, we develop a plan that respects your needs, capacity, and pace.

There is no one size fits all when it comes to this.

Every person has their own needs and capacity. Our clinicians bring advanced training and certification in brain- and body-based therapies, tailoring care to address the deep-seated impacts and physiological effects of trauma.

Untangle what keeps you stuck.

We help you notice and untangle the thoughts, feelings, memories, and patterns that keep you living in yesterday and tomorrow, robbing you of the beauty that is today.

Address what the body is carrying.

Together, we address the impact of stress, trauma, grief, shame, and attachment wounds on the body, mind, and soul.

Restore safety within.

We work together towards restoring a sense of safety within in order to increase capacity to manage emotions, triggers, and stressors in a healthy way.

Intensives

Sometimes an hour is just not enough.

An intensive sets aside an extended block of time for deeper, more intentional processing, either alongside ongoing therapy or as a stand-alone alternative to regular one-hour appointments. Each intensive is tailored to the client’s needs and goals using a mix of Brainspotting, EMDR, and Somatic Experiencing.

How it works

  1. Intake. An initial appointment to understand the issue and set goals for the session.
  2. The intensive. A half-day, full-day, or multi-day extended session used for processing.
  3. Follow-up. A follow-up session scheduled one to two weeks after the intensive.

Request an appointment.

A short request is enough. Our clinicians receive each website inquiry. One of them will follow up within 24–48 hours.

  • You do not have to know what to say yet.
  • A first and last name and either an email address or phone number is enough.
  • Save clinical details for when you speak directly.

Please provide at least one.
